Responsibilities/ Skillsets:

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed drawings, cross-sections, longitudinal profiles, and alignment plans for highway and road projects.
• Assist engineers in developing design layouts and technical drawings using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Ensure that all drawings comply with company, client, and international standards.
• Maintain proper documentation and version control of design files and drawings.
• Support the design team in quantity estimation, geometric design, and preparation of BOQs.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (structures, drainage, utilities, etc.) to ensure design consistency.
• Review and update drawings based on design revisions and project feedback.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
• 7 –15 years of relevant drafting experience in highway / road design projects.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Civil 3D or MicroStation is an added advantage.
• Familiarity with highway design standards such as IRC, MoRTH, AASHTO, or DMR.
• Good understanding of geometric design principles and highway components.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working on international highway projects (e.g., Middle East, Africa, or Europe).
• Exposure to BIM or 3D modeling workflows for infrastructure projects.
