This role will be based in the OIA Global offices in Pune but will primarily support Polygon Composites Technology, another LDI portfolio company. The role will interact directly with both OIA Global and Polygon team members.

The Business Analyst role will support Polygon's U.S. operations and leadership team but presents the opportunity to network and learn from a community of peers operating within the broader LDI family of companies, including OIA Global.

Summary:

The Business Analyst will be a key member of company's Finance & IT organization, reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer. This role will serve as a central driver of operational and financial reporting, analytics, and data integrity across the company.

In this highly analytical and cross-functional role, the Business Analyst will own the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of company's core financial and operational reporting, ensuring stakeholders at all levels have access to timely, accurate, and actionable information. This role will act as a bridge between finance, operations, and technology, translating business questions into structured data analysis and scalable reporting solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Owning and maintaining company's core operational reporting, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and alignment with approved "sources of truth"
• Designing, building, and enhancing dashboards and reports in Power BI to support executive, operational, and functional decision-making.
• Extracting, transforming, and analyzing data from company's ERP system (Syteline) and related relational databases using SQL.
• Supporting the full analytics workflow: data extraction, validation, analysis, visualization, and recurring reporting.
• Partnering with the CFO, FP&A, Accounting, and Operations teams to define metrics, KPIs, and reporting standards across the business.
• Developing and maintaining automated data pipelines, scripts, and workflows (using Python and/or other scripting tools) to reduce manual effort and improve reliability.
• Supporting month-end and mid-month reporting processes by producing standardized reports and variance analyses.
• Identifying opportunities to improve data quality, reporting efficiency, and analytical depth across finance and operations.
• Documenting data definitions, report logic, and processes to ensure transparency, repeatability, and auditability.
• Responding to ad hoc analytical requests from senior management, translating ambiguous questions into structured analysis.
• Working closely with IT, ERP administrators, and external partners to ensure data access, security, and system alignment.
• Handle audits and internal compliance reviews.

• Demonstrate strong proficiency in SQL, including working with complex relational data structures.
• Have hands-on experience building dashboards and reports in Power BI and / or Grafana.
• Possess working knowledge of Python for data analysis, visualization, and basic automation.
• Be comfortable working with ERP systems and financial data structures; experience with Syteline or manufacturing ERPs is a plus.
• Show the ability to translate business questions into clear analytical approaches and communicate insights effectively.
• Be highly organized, with strong attention to data accuracy, controls, and documentation.
• General familiarity with manufacturing processes and workflows is preferred but not required.
• Be comfortable working in a global, cross-time-zone environment with a high degree of ownership and autonomy.

Education and Experience:

• Holds a Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Bring 2 – 5+ years of experience in business analytics or a similar data-focused role supporting operations or finance.
• This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders ranging from hourly operators to senior executives.
