Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated TPA and IPD Billing Manager. The TPA and IPD Billing Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Third-Party Administrator (TPA) billing and In-Patient Department (IPD) billing processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement billing policies, procedures, and best practices for TPA and IPD billing.
Manage and supervise the TPA and IPD billing team, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
Ensure accurate and timely submission of TPA and IPD bills to insurance companies, third-party administrators, and patients.
Monitor and verify insurance coverage, eligibility, and benefits for patients.
Resolve complex billing discrepancies, disputes, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Coordinate with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and patients to address billing-related issues and concerns.
Analyze billing data and generate reports to identify trends, errors, and opportunities for process improvement.
Ensure compliance with healthcare billing regulations, insurance requirements, and hospital policies.
Collaborate with other departments, such as Finance, Medical Records, and Patient Services, to streamline billing processes and enhance communication.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Healthcare Administration, or related field; Master's degree is a plus.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in TPA billing, IPD billing, or medical billing and coding, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of healthcare billing regulations, insurance claims processes, and billing software.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and analytical skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and billing software.
Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
