    Description

    The ideal candidate for this position will provide project management for planning, and organizing all aspects of the task related to the relevant projects. As part of this role, the manager will have to oversee the works of his peers acting as the point of contact to handle any issues regarding the project.

    Responsibilities:

    • Plan, coordinate, and oversee all construction activities for civil engineering projects, including scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, and procurement.
    • Visit sites regularly during construction — including bid walks, preconstruction walks, in-progress visits, punch walks, and closeouts — and attend status and coordination meetings
    • Conduct and document quality assurance and safety inspections throughout the construction process, ensuring that the work environment is acceptable and that tools and equipment are in good working condition
    • Manage and supervise a team of construction professionals, subcontractors, and vendors, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure the successful implementation of construction plans and strategies.
    • Respond efficiently and effectively to work delays, emergencies, and other interface activity disruptions
    • Monitor and enforce compliance with all relevant safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards throughout the construction process.
    • Review and interpret engineering designs, blueprints, and specifications, and collaborate with the design and engineering teams to resolve any construction-related issues or discrepancies.
    • Conduct quality assessments, and progress evaluations to track project milestones and identify potential risks or delays, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
    • Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities, providing regular project updates, addressing any concerns or queries, and ensuring effective communication throughout the construction phase.
    • Prepare and present comprehensive construction progress reports, project evaluations, and post-construction analyses to senior management and key stakeholders

    Qualifications & Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant professional certification is preferred.
    • Proven track record of at least 8 years in a construction management role within the civil engineering or construction industry, demonstrating comprehensive experience in managing complex construction projects from initiation to completion.
    • In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards applicable to civil engineering projects.
    • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams toward achieving project objectives and delivering high-quality results.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and construction teams.
    • Proficiency in using construction management software, project management tools, and MS Office suite for construction planning, scheduling, and reporting.
    • has sufficient experience in reviewing and approving designs that are updated as required by the work on the ground in the project sites, and it is preferable that he be fluent in English and Telugu.
