    Description

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for achieving sales of the store
    • Manage stock levels in the store
    • Responsible for store hygiene (store is clean, stocks on shelves, proper lighting, uniform etc)
    • Ensure signage and stocking of products as per the guidelines set by Visual Merchandizing team
    • Analyse and interpret trends to facilitate sales planning
    • Ensure standards for quality, customer service, health and safety are met
    • Provide timely responses to customer complaints and comments
    • Maintain awareness of market trends in the retail industry and monitoring what local competitors are doing
    • Manage discounts during sale season
    • Implement promotional activities – advertising campaigns, visual communications
    • Ensure accurate accountability of all transactions to and from stores
    • Provide payment related information to Accounts department
    • Drive building the brand of Indian Terrain through promotional events, liaising with newspapers, community promotions etc.
    • Ensure integrity of store is maintained at all times
    • Build a strong, customer focused sales team
    • Organize training and development for the front end sales team
    • Ensure adequate quality sales force at outlets
    • Ensure the performance of the sales team is assessed periodically and provide adequate feedback
    • Ensure sales team gets incentive payouts on time

    • Achievement of sales in the store
    • Hygiene of Stores
    • Stock control
    • Customer satisfaction
    • Performance review of all direct reportees.

    Essential Skills & Qualifications:

    • Graduate / Postgraduate
    • 4 years in Sales / Modern Trade functions of Lifestyle / Consumer Durables industry/ Branded Apparel industry experience
    • Commercial understanding of the dynamics of Stores, Consumer behaviour
    • Excellent Communication skills, Planning, Analytical skills, Execution Focus, Problem Solving, Negotiation skills, Decision making skills, People Management skills.
