    About Us:
    Our client is a leading US-based company with a strong presence in the real estate sector. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Finance Controller to join our team in Gurgaon. The ideal candidate will possess a CPA certification and have extensive experience in financial management and reporting.


    Position Summary:


    As a Finance Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of our operations in Gurgaon, ensuring compliance with US GAAP standards and local regulations.

    You will lead a team of financial professionals, manage financial planning and analysis, and contribute to strategic decision-making processes.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Oversee day-to-day accounting and finance operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
    • Ensure compliance with US GAAP and local regulatory requirements.
    • Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparation of financial statements and variance analysis.
    • Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.
    • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
    • Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management for strategic decision-making.
    • Collaborate with auditors, tax consultants, and legal advisors to ensure compliance with audit requirements and tax filings.
    • Evaluate and improve financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
    Mentor and develop finance team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.


    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA preferred.
    • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification is mandatory.
    • Proven experience (5+ years) in financial management, accounting, or auditing roles.
    • Strong understanding of US GAAP, financial principles, and regulatory requirements.
    • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
    • Advanced proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
    • Experience in managing and developing a team of finance professionals.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fastpaced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
    • Previous experience working in a USbased company or exposure to US financial regulations is preferred.
