    The Area Operations Manager is responsible for developing and expanding the business in their respective area, overseeing store operations across that area, and increasing customer satisfaction.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Driving Sales and Customer Service

    a. Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned territory.

    b. Focus on delivering exceptional customer service to boost the Net Promoter Score (NPS) for the store.

    c. Foster a high-performing sales culture, emphasizing SALES Leadership.

    d. Motivate and inspire field teams to drive results.

    e. Analyze regional financial performance to identify areas for improvement.

    f. Serve as a strategic planning link between Corporate and the field organization.

    g. Translate corporate goals into actionable business plans.

    h. Assess field capabilities and establish performance priorities at the group level.

    Manpower Planning & People Development

    a. Collaborate with HR and Store Managers to ensure adequate staffing levels for effective store operation.

    b. Direct responsibility for professional development of Lenskart Associates.

    c. Identify and prioritize advanced management skill gaps, including business plan design, implementation, financial analysis, associate development, and communication.

    d. Conduct regular two-way performance evaluations to review professional development needs and accomplishments.

    e. Establish a culture embracing diversity and maximizing learnings from a diverse team.

    f. Overall responsibility for associate development.

    Managing P&L of Assigned Stores

    a. Responsible for managing and maintaining territory and store budgets to ensure profitability.

    b. Effectively manage top and bottom lines for the assigned territory and stores.

    c. Reduce shrinkage and optimize staff productivity.

    d. Implement cost-effective methods to enhance territory productivity.

    Managing and Maintaining High Standards of Retail Operations

    a. Regular Store Visits:

    i. Audit stores.

    ii. Coach Store Managers.

    iii. Motivate staff through sales discussions.

    iv. Check visual merchandising, stock availability.

    v. Verify store hygiene and grooming standards.

    vi. Assess discipline levels: opening times, staff attendance, process adherence.

    b. Analyze data before Store Visits:

    i. Monitor sales through data.

    ii. Assess store productivity and achievements.

    iii. Evaluate store staffing levels.

    iv. Examine product flow, supply, demand, and shrinkage.

    v. Review NPS and MC scores.

    vi. Recommend measures to achieve performance targets.

    Bridge Communication between Management and Floor

    a. Facilitate communication between Management and floor staff.

    b. Recommend changes to ZM/BH based on visits.

    c. Ensure timely reporting of Data when needed.

    d. Implement and enforce company regulations.

    e. Introduce process changes.

    f. Attend conferences, events, and meetings at regional and corporate levels to enhance knowledge and skill sets.

    Inventory Management

    a. Ensure required merchandise and services are available at each assigned store.

    b. Balance inventory levels and make key decisions about inventory control at each assigned store.

    c. Conduct physical verification of inventory at regular intervals at each assigned store.

    d. Ensure store staff have basic understanding of POS System for proper transaction processing.

    e. Conduct quality checks for new products in a timely manner.

    f. Reduce shrinkage at the store level.
