Il Front-End developer è il professionista che nell'ambito di un progetto si occupa di definire le interfacce utente e le modalità con le quali queste si debbano interfacciare con le componenti remote di un'applicazione per rendere disponibili le funzionalità del sistema.
Si occupa sia dell'aspetto estetico dell'applicazione che della parte funzionale esclusivamente per quanto riguarda le interfacce utente. Il suo principale obiettivo è quello di creare una user experience ottima applicando strumenti e metodi che rendono le applicazioni facilmente utilizzabili.
E' indispensabile una formazione in ambito informatico. E' necessaria la capacità di problem solving e conoscenza di almeno una lingua straniera, in special modo l'inglese. E soprattutto la voglia di imparare e la passione per il mondo digitale.
