    Description

    We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our reputable stock broking company. As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing financial transactions, ensuring accurate and timely reporting, and supporting the overall financial operations of the organization. This position requires strong knowledge of accounting principles, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Financial Recording and Reporting:
    • Prepare and maintain financial records, including general ledgers, balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.
    • Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data by reconciling accounts, investigating discrepancies, and resolving any issues that arise.
    • Generate regular financial reports and provide insights to support decision-making by management and stakeholders.
    • Comply with applicable accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.
    • Accounts Payable and Receivable:
    • Manage accounts payable processes, including reviewing and processing vendor invoices, reconciling statements, and ensuring timely payments.
    • Oversee accounts receivable functions, including invoicing clients, tracking payments, and managing collections.
    • Maintain accurate records of transactions and perform periodic account reconciliations.
    • Financial Analysis and Budgeting:
    • Conduct financial analysis, including variance analysis, to assess the company's financial performance and identify areas for improvement.
    • Assist in the development of annual budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and objectives.
    • Monitor actual financial performance against budgets and provide insightful analysis and recommendations.
    • Regulatory Compliance:
    • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, including tax laws, financial reporting standards, and industry-specific regulations.
    • Assist in the preparation of regulatory filings and respond to inquiries from regulatory bodies, as necessary.
    • Process Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
    • Implement best practices and recommend system enhancements to optimize financial operations.

    Qualifications and Skills:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
    • years of experience as an Accountant, Must have experience in stock broking sector.
    • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and relevant regulations.
    • Proficiency in using accounting software and tools.
    • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
    • Familiarity with stock broking operations and relevant financial instruments is a plus.
