    Business Head - Booking Category/Online Products


    Job Overview :


    As the Head of Booking Business at SMILe, you will be a key leader responsible for overseeing and driving the success of various products within the booking category.

    This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the booking business, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of driving Product Management, growth, revenue, and operational excellence.

    The successful candidate will play a crucial role in shaping the future of Smile's booking business, owning P&L responsibilities, and driving continuous product enhancement.


    Key Responsibilities :

    Strategic Leadership :

    • Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for the booking business to drive growth, market share, and profitability.
    • Provide visionary leadership to the team, setting clear goals and objectives aligned with the overall business strategy.

    Product Ownership:

    • Own and manage multiple products within the booking category, overseeing their entire lifecycle from ideation to execution.
    • Drive continuous improvement and innovation in product features and offerings to enhance the customer experience.

    Revenue Generation and P&L Management:

    • Develop and implement revenue growth strategies to meet and exceed business targets.
    • Take ownership of the P&L for the booking business, ensuring financial targets are met and profitability is maintained.

    Operational Excellence:

    • Oversee daytoday operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
    • Implement and optimize operational processes to enhance productivity and reduce costs.

    Market Analysis and Trends:

    • Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and potential threats.
    • Utilize market insights to inform strategic decisions and maintain a competitive edge.

    Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including marketing, technology, and customer support to ensure seamless execution of business strategies.
    • Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.

    Team Development:

    • Build, lead, and mentor a highperforming team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
    • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skillset of the team.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
    • Min 8 experience in a senior leadership role Product mDoCategory, Growth strategy, Preferably ecom & travel tech
    • Exposure on Booking system is big plus.
    • Strong understanding of booking business dynamics, market trends, and customer behaviour
    • Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and managing P&L for a business unit.
    • Excellent strategic thinking, decisionmaking, and problemsolving skills.
    • Exceptional leadership and team management capabilities.
