    Energy, Siemens LimitedIndia is seeking a responsible, professional, and self-motivated individual tojoin the Gas Turbine R&D, Gurgaon as "Gas Turbine- Engine Integration (SAS& Heat Transfer) Engineer".Thisposition provides an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic,global product development & service environment. This position is for anexperienced professional, who will be responsible for assessment of flows(Secondary air system model) thermals and displacements (Whole engine model) tosupport R&D projects of Gas turbines.

    Theselected candidate will join an aspiring team of engine integration engineersworking on existing GT product and/or the next generation of Siemens Gasturbines.

    oriented:

  • Synthesis and Analysis of Secondary air system (SAS) & Wholeengine (WE) models to estimate mass flows, thermals & displacements of gasturbine development programs.
  • Complete ownership of the Secondary air system & Whole enginemodels for different gas turbine variants.
  • Fully accountable for model results and successful completion ofdesign or gate reviews for NPI's and service upgrades.
  • Perform quick design trade studies via. Secondary air system andWhole engine model assessment.
  • Incorporate best practices from Siemens gas turbines regardingengine operations and controls.
  • Develop instrumentation and testing plans to support enginedevelopment program and calibrate/validate SAS & WE models based on themeasured instrumentations.
  • Post-processing of Secondary air system results to be applied inWhole Engine thermo-mechanical model for metal temperature predictions andclearance's optimization.
  • Collaborate with different design groups to drive design changesin order to optimize engine performance.

  • Bachelor / Master's degree in Mechanical/aerospace engineeringdiscipline from recognized university.
  • 2 to 6 years of experience in the design and development of Gasturbine components in context to Secondary air system, whole engine modeling,clearances & sealing design.
  • Basic understanding of gas turbine components and operations,including key design criteria in context to Secondary air system & Wholeengine models.
  • Experience with Fluid Mechanics & Heat Transfer techniques inGas turbines.
  • Knowledge of fluid and structure interactions to simulate SS andtransient conjugate thermal analysis.
  • Proficiency in one or multiple computational modeling tools forthermo-mechanical or computational fluid dynamics analysis (e.g., SC03, CFX,Ansys, Abaqus, NASTRAN, ProE, NX etc.).
  • Problem-solving ability.
  • Data analysis skills.
  • Verbal and written communication skills.
  • Positive Interpersonal skills ((i.e., team player, quick learner,ability to adapt quickly & effectively etc.).
