    Job Overview:


    We are seeking an experienced Senior ServiceNow ITOM Developer / Lead with 8+ years of overall experience, including 3 to 5 years focused on ITOM (IT Operations Management) development.

    The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in ServiceNow ITOM modules such as Discovery, Event Management, and Orchestration.

    As a Lead, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and implementing ITOM solutions while leading a team of developers.


    Key Responsibilities:

    Lead ITOM Development:
    Design, develop, and implement ITOM solutions, specifically for Discovery, Event Management, and Orchestration modules.

    ServiceNow Configuration:
    Customize ServiceNow ITOM applications and modules to meet business needs.

    Integration & Automation:
    Develop integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise tools/systems, leveraging ServiceNow Orchestration and other automation techniques.

    Development & Scripting:
    Write and optimize scripts in JavaScript, GlideScript, and PowerShell for efficient automation and integration of ITOM components.

    ITOM Best Practices:
    Ensure that ServiceNow ITOM solutions are implemented following best practices, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.

    Leadership:
    Mentor and guide junior developers, providing technical direction and assisting with troubleshooting and issue resolution.

    Collaboration:

    Work closely with cross-functional teams, including ITSM, Security, and Infrastructure teams, to understand requirements and deliver effective ITOM solutions.


    Troubleshooting & Performance Tuning:
    Troubleshoot and optimize the performance of ServiceNow ITOM applications and integrations.

    Stakeholder Communication:
    Interface with stakeholders and business leaders to ensure ITOM solutions align with business objectives and requirements.

    Documentation:
    Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for all development work, configurations, and integrations.


    Required Skills and Qualifications:


    8+ years of experience in IT application development with 3-5 years focused on ServiceNow ITOM modules (Discovery, Event Management, Orchestration, etc.).

    Strong hands-on experience in ServiceNow ITOM development, including Discovery, Event Management, and ServiceNow Orchestration.
    Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, GlideScript, etc.) and web services (REST, SOAP).
    Experience in integrating ServiceNow ITOM with external systems and automation tools.
    Strong knowledge of ServiceNow ITOM best practices and platform architecture.
    Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues related to ITOM processes.
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.
