    Fairfest Media is an established leader in trade shows and B2B media in India, serving governments and businesses from over 100 countries.

    Fairfest's flagship travel event is OTM, which is well-recognised as Asia's leading travel event.


    Fairfest is actively planning a public listing and we are looking for an experienced manager to oversee all financial and accounting aspects of business, to meet statutory and MIS requirements and drive statutory and management accounting functions in the company.


    Reporting to the CEO and the Director of Finance & Accounting, the ideal candidate will be an exceptional chartered accountant ideally with experience in either a well-established accounting firm or a large corporate.


    Key responsibilities:


    Manage day-to-day accounting operations and ensure that there is no backlogAdvise and implement management accounting formats, schedules and reportingAdvise and implement on technology adoption for better automation of the accounting processImplement and monitor statutory and tax-related compliances, including multi-state GSTEnsure high standards of Governance and Controls, including measuresAnalyze and advise on corporate finance structure and policies regarding capital requirements, debt, taxation, equity, disposals and acquisitions.

    Establish a high level of credibility and manage strong working relationships with external parties including customers and advisors.

    Oversee, review, and adhere to the budgets for each business departmentMonitor cash flow, credit control, and related financial functionsGuide and train accounting executives and other employees in the facilitation of day-to-day operations, including tracking financial data, invoicing, payroll, etc.

    Create and maintain relationships with service providers and contractors, including banking institutions and statutory authoritiesUpdate and implement financial and accounting control policies and proceduresOversee all audit and internal control operationsPrepare timely and detailed reports on financial performanceEnsure adherence to financial laws and guidelinesEvaluate the need for new technology to meet the organization's financial data processing, control, and reporting requirementsAssist in treasury and daily banking functionsAssist in development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance the workflow of the department.


    Qualifications:


    Experience of 5 years or more, of progressive accounting responsibilityAppropriate educational and professional qualifications in AccountingA commercially astute, articulate, technically strong, dynamic, insightful and influential leader with the ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels.

    Exceptional communication skills at all levels.
    High integrity and openness combined with commitment to good governance.
