    Role Summary:
    The Senior Storage Team Manager will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to assess storage needs, develop strategies, and implement solutions that align with business objectives and security standards

    Job Responsibility:

    Lead and oversee the design, implementation, and management of storage on premises as well as cloud storage solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and high performance.

    Works together with the product managers, architects and subject matter experts and is manager and also HR responsible of the team of DevOps storage engineers.

    Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning of storage administrators.

    Lead the evaluation and selection of on premise / cloud storage technologies, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives to optimize performance and cost effectivenessOptimize and fine-tune existing storage infrastructure for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.

    Spearhead the development and implementation of robust disaster recovery and backup strategies in the cloud environment.
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate storage solutions into broader IT and business strategies.

    Stay current on emerging trends, tools, and best practices in storage both in the cloud as on premise, advising on strategic improvements.


    Job Qualification:
    Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or related field.
    Extensive experience as team manager in the IT areas of storage, virtualization and OS automation with strong automation knowledge.

    Minimum of ten plus years of experience working in the storage area of which five years as a team manager.

    With understanding of storage technologies both on AWS cloud (Eg:

    S3, EBS, EFS, OnTap FSx) as well as on premises (Eg: NetApp, Pure storage).Experience working with Linux OS and NFS storage in a high performance compute environment.

    Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
    Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on solving problems together.

    Ideal candidate will have knowledge of SAFe principles and practicesStrong technical knowledge background in DevOps practices,Experience with IT service management processes based on ITIL principles and in depth knowledge of tools like Service Now.
