What are the tasks?In this role you will build, run and improve simplyblock multi-cluster storage operations & production on AWS (and other clouds in the future).
Design and implement an operations model with defined processes for monitoring and health management, event management and incident responseDrive the improvement of monitoring, backup, cluster deployment and incident response functions and manage their implementation with the development team to continuously improve the availability and decrease manual operations effortsSLA management:
collect metrics and monitor compliancePerform e2e testing for cluster operations functions and manage resolution of issues in close interaction with the development teamInteraction with customers for whom managed services are provided
What's required?Minimum 4 years of experience in a leading IT operations and support role, such as SRE team lead, Head of application operations or Head of infrastructure (either in on premise data centers or on a major cloud provider)
Minimum of 4 years of hands-on admin/ops experience with the Kubernetes platformSeveral years of experience with data storage system implementation / operations (SAN, NAS, etc.)Some background in system virtualization, networking and linuxPreferably:
Several years of experience with the administration of cloud-based IaaS such as aws ec2/vpc/eks
