You will be working as Warehouse Specialist at global grade 15 and will be part of Motion Business Area for Large Motors & Generators division based in Vadodara, India. In this role you will be reporting to Warehouse/Internal Logistics Manager and will be responsible for overseeing raw materials store or warehouse operations, managing a team of employees who receive, handle, store and dispatch products, systems and services to customers.

Your responsibilities

• Establishing or adjusting work procedures to meet store demands as dictated by production schedules and workflow. Developing and maintaining departmental work instructions for all tasks
• Ensuring maintenance of equipment and facilities. Identifying and recommending technical equipment and facility improvements as necessary
• Optimizing store capacity, inventory and floor utilization. Recommending measures to improve quality of service, increasing efficiency of department and work crew and equipment performance
• Supervising and assisting in daily store and shipping areas. Ensuring stock accuracy through periodic stock take and/or cycle counting
• Motivating, organizing and encouraging teamwork within the workforce to ensure set productivity and Key Performance Indication (KPI) targets are met
• Maintaining standards of health and safety. Ensuring quality environmental objectives are met

Your background

• Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in handling store Engineering goods
• Exceptional analytical skills
• Good communication and leadership skills
