    Description
    We are looking for a professional Sous Chefto be the second in command in our kitchen following our companyspecifications and guidelines. The successful candidate will employits culinary and managerial skills in order to play a critical rolein maintaining and enhancing our customerssatisfaction.

    Responsibilities

    • Helpin the preparation and design of all food and drinksmenus.
    • Produce high quality plates both designand taste wise.
    • Ensure that the kitchenoperates in a timely way that meets our qualitystandards.
    • Fill in for the Executive Chef inplanning and directing food preparation whennecessary.
    • Resourcefully solve any issues thatarise and seize control of any problematicsituation.
    • Manage and train kitchen staffestablish working schedule and assess staff sperformance.
    • Order supplies to stock inventoryappropriately.
    • Comply with and enforcesanitation regulations and safetystandards.
    • Maintain a positive and professionalapproach with coworkers andcustomers.

    Requirements andskills

    • 3 years of experience as aSous Chef
    • Understanding of various cookingmethods ingredients equipment andprocedures
    • Excellent record of kitchen andstaff management
    • Accuracy and speed in handlingemergency situations and providingsolutions.
    • Familiar with industry s bestpractices
    • Working knowledge of various computersoftware programs (MS Office restaurant management softwarePOS)
    • BS degree in Culinary science or relatedcertificate would be aplus.
