    Role Description

    This is a full-time on-site role for a Network Engineer L3 for Mumbai and Guwahati. The Network Engineer L3 will be responsible for network implementation, network engineering, troubleshooting, network security, and network design. The role involves ensuring the smooth operation of network infrastructure and resolving network-related issues.

    Qualifications

    • Network Implementation, Network Engineering, and Network Design skills
    • Troubleshooting and Network Security skills
    • Experience in managing complex network environments
    • Knowledge of network protocols and technologies
    • Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent
    • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
    • Ability to work effectively in a team
    • Relevant experience in the IT industry
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field

    Responsibilities

    • Install, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco networking and security technologies as well as Palo Alto, Fortinet, Juniper, HP Aruba, and others.
    • Data Centre, Virtualization and Storage technologies a plus as a cross platform domain expert
    • Strong understanding of security and privacy controls and the ability to design and configure according to the current standards.
    • Troubleshoot integrated technology issues and maintain an accurate issues list.
    • Provide systems administration training to clients.
    • Learn to understand the customer environment (technical and on ground) and follow the key escalation matrix.
    • Work with Account Managers to identify new opportunities (cross selling and up selling while on projects)
    • Participate in the modification and continual improvement of the both the professional services project documentation and the project implementation processes.
    • Assist support technicians in troubleshooting client installations.
    • Continuously develop and enhance knowledge, skills, and abilities through various learning channels to expand technical and non-technical capabilities. Ensure further expansion of skill set in the products & services that Black Box supports.
    • Actively and consistently recommend and support all efforts to improve, simplify, automate, and enhance day to day service delivery operations and the client experience.
    • Identify, research, analyze, diagnose, resolve, and close escalated technical problems in a timely manner. Perform other duties as assigned.
