    Description

    This is an India-based individual contribution role that will directly support the growth plans of Sciente's global business operations in Singapore, Malaysia, USA, India and Philippines.

    This in-house role offers hiring/recruitment responsibility for the group's internal talent acquisition requirements as a primary responsibility and HR responsibilities for India teams as a secondary responsibility.

    • Formulate a strategy to attract desired talents for open requirements.
    • Take full ownership of the responsibility for open internal roles across all countries and diligently work to fulfill these positions within agreed-upon timeframes.
    • Gain a thorough understanding of the employee value propositions and key differentiators of Sciente businesses to enhance the employer branding.
    • Work with marketing to enhance the employer branding using various channels including social media and professional networks.
    • Focus primarily on growing a team of sales, business development, tech recruitment consultants across various geographies.
    • Embrace a consultative approach, aiming to function as a coach and talent advisor to potential passive candidates.
    • Ensure a clear understanding of open job descriptions and expectations.
    • Collaborate with Reporting Manager(s) to validate a shared understanding of hiring requirements.
    • Creatively search/source candidates through various channels, and engage with potential talents to attract them.
    • Continuously explore new methods for identifying, pipelining, and sourcing passive candidates for open job descriptions.
    • Conduct prudent screening, shortlist candidates, and profile them for the interview process by Functional/Reporting Managers.
    • Deliver a delightful experience throughout the candidates' hiring and onboarding stages until the successful completion of probation.
    • Effectively manage moments of truth and pre-closure activities to have a delightful candidate experience.
    • Generate offer letters based on agreed terms and maintain a regular communication with potential joiners.
    • Facilitate seamless onboarding for new joiners, identifying and setting up required facilities, configuring email, e-phones, and intranet user IDs.
    • Assist executive management in HR administration i.e. track and address (or coordinate the resolution of) support requests related to HR, desktops, payroll, leave, etc., compensation & benefits and performance management etc. for India teams.
    • Maintain a regular engagement with employees to ensure a good employee experience and employees are delivering the desired performance.
    • Submit a weekly status report in a timely manner.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    5-10 years of total experience of full life cycle talent acquisition of active and passive candidates, especially sales, business development and tech recruitment professionals, and in various HR functions.

    • Proficiency in comprehending the talent acquisition requirements of the business across various countries.
    • Strategic sourcing and prudent screening skills to identify and cultivate a pipeline of suitable passive candidates for Sciente group.
    • Capability to align with the specific needs of local geographies and effectively communicate job roles to attract suitable talents from those regions.
    • Skill in engaging potential talents, employing a consultative approach to understand their skills, competencies, career aspirations and align them with our offerings.
    • A successful track record in enhancing employer branding and in attracting the passive candidates shall be required.
    • Capacity to function as an independent contributor, taking ownership of the entire candidate journey from sourcing to onboarding and successful induction into the confirmed workforce.
