    We enable customer, pricing & promotion strategies across the global markets through our focused capabilities of Sales Execution, Trade & Strategic Revenue Management and Category Management.

    Teams within function are aligned to the above focused capabilities for each of our markets and each team member specializes in domains of Advanced Analytics, Visual Insights & Planogramming.

    Purpose of the role


    The GIC Sales Canada Capabilities team is looking for someone with a learning mindset who is passionate about Revenue Management/Pricing and energized by working at the intersection of Sales, Finance, Data and Analytics, Brand, CMI and Capabilities.

    You will be hands on, action oriented, and accountable as we continue to build a best-in-class Global Revenue Management capability that helps drive the performance of General Mills now and into the future.

    In this role, you will support the Market Strategy & Revenue Management team within the Canada business by providing them with SRM support.

    You will be providing analytic rigor across all 5 levers of SRM (Price, Trade, Price Pack Architecture, Mix, and Terms) to drive top line and/or bottom-line results for GMCC.Strong candidates for this role will demonstrate exceptional prioritization and communication skills (written & verbal), analytic acumen (analysis and measurement) as well as experience/passion for learning and development.

    The team member will build a seamless rapport with the point of contact overseas, address and initiate business requests, establish solutions through sophisticated reporting/ tool building and superior presentations/visuals; the work completed will be sent with an actionable analysis that showcases depth & breadth of business acumen.

    The team member must have a strong grasp of alternatives and use their thought leadership to make calculated decisions to influence how projects and capabilities shape up - this includes leveraging well-conceived proof of concepts.

    KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESAdvance SRM Analytics & CapabilitiesConduct analysis, and provide insights, leveraging existing and new tools to surface insights, draw conclusions, make recommendations, and influence business partners to consensus and action.

    Leverage and embed SRM Tools, when availableProvide support and/or act as subject matter expertise on all 5 levers of SRM:

    Price, Trade, Price Pack Architecture, Mix, and TermsCollaborate across boundaries to learn and implement best-in-class SRM techniques, pre-existing solutions, tools, platforms etc.

    Business Management, Statistics, Marketing, Retail, Economics4-7 years of relevant Business Reporting, Analytics & Visualization experience in CPG (or related) industry.

    Experience with market data analysis tools is required (experience working with ACNielsen and IRI preferred.)Expertise in General Mills USRO Trade planning cycle & conceptsExpertise in POS & Shipment data, recognizing patterns for GMI categories and/or customers.
