    Job Role and Responsibilities:

    Business Development Head

    • Lead and drive and be accountable for the overall operations, management and execution of Prestige Group's real estate developments across Goa region.
    • Implement the ethos of Prestige Group in operations and manage affairs in accordance with company policies and standards.
    • Advise the CMD and Board of Directors in setting strategic goals, objectives, budgets, policies, and procedures to enhance market share, profitability and return on investment while ensuring optimal operating costs.
    • Develop an in depth understanding of the market/regulations to manage/mitigate operational risks and to identify prospective opportunities for Prestige Group in the region.
    • Ensure the company's overall strategic direction and priorities for the region are met and deliver the performance of the investments and projects as planned through a sharp focus on execution.
    • Build and lead the team, ensure that the highest quality talent is hired and develop a best in class team for Prestige Group across all functions with an effective organizational structure and positive internal climate.
    • Conduct annual performance appraisal for all executives and recommend salary adjustments, rewards, and promotions.
    • Provide advice, guidance, direction and authorization to the team through the Executive Management Team to execute the plan, consistent with established policies, budgets and timelines as well as in adherence to Prestige guidelines, policies and procedures.
    • Set and monitor the goals for each department under the Executive Management Team.
    • Establish and maintain an effective/transparent communication system to ensure responsibilities, authorities and accountabilities are clearly defined and understood.
    • Provide the required linkage between the CMD and Board of Directors to the region and be the Prestige custodian of relationships with customers, land owners, business partners, financial community and government entities.
    • Address customer and employee satisfaction issues promptly.
    • Conduct a strategic review of performance on a regular basis to determine whether the region is meeting its short-and long-term objectives (increase in profits, increase in market share, return on investment, etc) as well as performance versus plan and accordingly follow-up to ensure appropriate measures are taken to course correct.
    • Ensure that the region runs with legality and in conformity to established regulations and adheres to the highest ethical standards.
    • Liaise with the regulatory and governing bodies to ensure that all the revenue generating departments adhere to the set legal framework governing the real estate laws.
    • Share knowledge with other branches and headquarters on effective practices, competitive intelligence, business opportunities and needs.
    • Other responsibilities assigned by the Management.
