    APEX Revenue Management (ARM)

    Controlling, monitoring, measuring, implementing, designing, and evaluating systems and business processes related to ARM area.

  • Undertake resource allocation and work planning for ARM process
  • Identifies, recommends and implements relevant metrics to measure ARM processes
  • Ensure adherence to ARM through reviews and interacting with Revenue Recognition and Line of Business owners
  • Proactively communicate process exceptions/deviations to Senior Management, and bottlenecks to all process partners
  • Manage review of MEA templates submitted by analysts for completeness, proper usage and system functionality
  • Manage support tickets relating to MEA process and related items with RevRec Development team
  • Prepare documentation to be reviewed and discussed with external auditors related to ARM processes.
  • Replicate and standardize standard methodologies for ARM area
  • Manage system maintenance of ARM tables and mappings. Includes working with RevRec Development team for set up, mapping and calculations of any new SSP groupings.
  • Quarterly ARM reporting for EY and management. Includes working with RevRec Development to create new reporting, prepare necessary reports and review reports/memos prepared by team.
  • Assist with training and documentation requirements.

  • Manage a team of functional experts working on the RMCS (Revenue Management Cloud Services) and other system solutions required until full implementation of RMCS.
  • Accomplish department objectives by managing staff, planning and evaluating department activities. Accomplish staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results. Conducting periodic performance reviews.

  • RMCS Implementation

  • Evaluate and investigate current business processes and systems, analyzing issues and development of new systems and processes to improve efficiency and performance
  • Designing new processes for the organization and contributing towards solving process-related challenges that the organization may encounter.
  • Managing system enhancements from identification to solution delivery and working with Global IT (Product Development and System Integrators) contacts where needed to resolve deficiencies. Includes setup, integration with RMCS and other systems, testing and bug resolution.
  • Manage documentation of business requirements for RMCS implementation.
  • Manage RMCS user acceptance testing including documentation of test case business scenarios
  • Manage development of user trainings for RMCS
  • Manage all tasks related to RMCS implementation for assigned areas
  • Facilitate RMCS system configuration and testing workshop involving liaising with users and Global Process Owners and IT.
  • Work with Cross Functional teams to revise processes where needed for automation.
  • Maintenance of RMCS post implementation phase
  • Understand and apply ASC606 standard requirements, specifically related to SSP and Revenue Allocations, including the Residual Approach method.
  • Participate in workshops and reviews/updates of documentation related to RMCS and other SSP solutions as needed.
  • Identify and solution system deficiencies. This will require working closely with the RevRec Core team, PD, OAL and RevRec Development to determine required workarounds and long-term solutions.
  • Responsible for developing and implementing activities in project management databases surrounding integration, maintenance and new requirements of the SSP and Revenue Allocation process. This includes but it not limited to testing participation, engagements with other Process and System owners, awareness of business process, coordination of enhancement requirements, acting as the main Business POC for OAL and Development teams, system documentation and overall planning for the end to end process related to SSP and Revenue Allocations.
  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree in Accounting or equivalent.
  • 8-10+ years of management and staff development experience, finance and accounting
  • Demonstrated leadership and people management skills
  • Interaction with senior management
  • Revenue Recognition skills preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Moderate Excel Skills
  • Experience in working with Oracle's accounting modules or feeder modules and related applications with systems upgrade experience desirable.
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing and build strong relationships across cross-functional teams
  • Detail oriented, yet able to identify issues and grasp concepts at a broader level
  • Experience in working with the business from a finance perspective at global Fortune 500 enterprises
  • Ability to effectively partner with IT to upgrade systems to meet business, basic knowledge of ASC 606 and IFRS 15 accounting
