Job description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Head to lead our sales organization. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing diverse sales departments, driving revenue growth, and building strong client relationships. Preference will be given to candidates with rich experience in IT sales accounts, particularly in enterprise and technology-driven environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Strategy
- Define and execute sales strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed targets.
- Establish performance metrics and ensure accountability across departments.
- Business Development
- Drive new business opportunities with a focus on IT accounts.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Identify emerging market trends and capitalize on growth opportunities.
- Operational Excellence
- Oversee departmental budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, product, operations) to ensure seamless execution.
- Implement best practices in sales processes, CRM usage, and pipeline management.
- Client Engagement
- Develop tailored solutions for enterprise clients in IT and technology sectors.
- Negotiate contracts and close high-value deals.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and retention through proactive engagement.
Qualifications & Experience
- B. Tech or Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field.
- 10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior management role.
- Strong background in IT sales accounts (enterprise software, hardware, cloud solutions, or IT services).
- Demonstrated success in handling multiple departments and large teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to deliver revenue growth and expand market share.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
