Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in New Delhi for a Senior Interior Designer. The Senior Interior Designer will be responsible for overseeing and managing the design process of commercial and residential projects, including conceptual design, space planning, detailing, and construction documentation. They will provide mentoring and guidance to Interior Designers, as required, be fully conversant with the latest codes and legislation, and will work with clients to ensure that all design needs are met within the allocated budget and timeline.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree preferred in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field
• Minimum of 1-5 years of experience in commercial and residential design projects, with demonstrated success as a Senior Interior Designer
• Strong leadership capabilities, with proven ability to provide effective guidance and mentoring to design teams
• Excellent design and presentation skills utilizing 2D and 3D software applications, such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Revit
• Strong knowledge of design principles, color theory, and materials selection
• Experience working with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders in a construction project
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written, and able to work collaboratively with clients and team members
• Knowledgeable of local codes and regulations pertaining to design and construction
• Membership with a relevant professional organization, such as the Council for Interior Design Accreditation (CIDA) or the International Interior Design Association (IIDA) is a plus
