    Role Description :

    This is a contract role for a SAP Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP) Consultant. The ABAP Consultant will be responsible for implementing and customizing SAP solutions using ABAP programming language.

    The day-to-day tasks will include developing ABAP programs, designing and implementing ALV Reports, User Exits, BAPI, and IDoc. The role is an on-site position located in Bengaluru.

    Qualifications :

    - Strong knowledge and experience in SAP ABAP programming.

    - Proficiency in creating ALV Reports and implementing User Exits, BAPI, and IDoc.

    - Familiarity with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.

    - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

    - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

    - Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

    - Prior experience with SAP implementation projects is a plus.

    - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

    Key Responsibilities :

    Develop and customize ABAP programs to enhance SAP functionalities according to project requirements. Design and implement ALV Reports for efficient data presentation and analysis.

    Implement User Exits to incorporate custom logic and enhance standard SAP processes.

    Utilize BAPI (Business Application Programming Interface) for integrating external applications with SAP systems.

    Implement IDoc (Intermediate Document) for data exchange between different systems within the SAP landscape.

    Collaborate with functional consultants and business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members as needed.

    Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

    Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing ABAP programs to ensure smooth system operation.

    Document technical specifications, solution designs, and test plans.
