As partof our small friendly overseas team you will be the face of SkiWeekends and are integral to maintaining

our exacting standardsand reputation enabling guests to Be Happy and Ski More Here atSki weekends we

We arelooking for staff who have bags of enthusiasm willing to work hardand go the extra mile and have a

nothing is too muchtrouble attitude combined with a passionfor the mountains. Please note due to the business

model we have 2transfer days a week that is Thursdays and Mondays giving younormally Saturday as one of

the days off which isgreat as the slopes are empty

GeneralOverview

As aChaletHost you will be responsible forone of our chalets in the French Alps ensuring that it runssmoothly

and that yourguests receive the very best from their holiday. You will take careof all chalet duties including

foodpurchasing/ordering stocktaking preparing & serving food aswell as all chalet cleaning and laundry

duties. You will bewelcoming our guests (twice a week) and will be required to alwaysprovide excellent

customer service. Beknowledgeable about the resort you live and work in.

Skills andExperience:

Be an excellent cookyou should be able to demonstrate this or have successfullycompleted a chalet

hostcookerycourse.

At least oneyears previous experience in ahospitality or customer facing role and be able to tackle

a variety of tasks.

Elevated level ofattention to detail and excellent competence in cleaning andhygiene standards.

Confident flexible andcomfortable with working alone to set timeschedules.

Positive friendlyattitude demonstrating a can do approach witheffective communication skills.

Desire to provide ahigh level of customer service.

PrincipalResponsibilities:

Ensure that our highcompany standards and codes of practice are adhered to.

Breakfast and afternoontea preparation serving and clearing away.

Dinner preparationservice and clearing away.

Accommodating specialdietary requirements.

Communicating mealarrangements for the chalet group.

Daily housekeeping andcleaning duties.

Bealways presentable and personable. (Uniform provided)

Answering the telephone(if necessary) handing out keys and providing information toguests.

Ensure that allsnow is cleared from paths balconies and ensuring that pathways aresafe and the

exteriorof the chalet is kept tidy and clear of rubbish and cigarette ends.

Providing extensiveknowledge of the resort and be aware of the location of mountainfirst aid doctors

hospitals banks postoffices restaurants tourist offices and company ski hirerepresentatives.

Ensuring the chalet isrun to the highest standard adhering to French health and hygieneregulations.

Weeklyguest arrival and food planning including food chemical &linen stocktakes.

Complete accurate andtimely submission of household accounts and administrationpaperwork

includingmaintenance logs and weekly cleaning and hygiene checklists.

Always maintaining thehighest levels of customer service.

Ensuring that anymaintenance / breakages are recorded and reported in the correctmanner.

Ensure that anyguest queries are dealt with and passed on to your line manager.

Depending on the chaletyou may be required to look after a Sauna and perhaps a hot tubtoo.

Be prepared to help outin other chalets and resorts when needed.

Any other work as maybe reasonably asked by the Company.
