- Coordinate with vessels, workshops, and technicians for repairs, servicing, and maintenance of navigational, electrical, and mechanical equipment onboard vessels.
- Assist in arranging shore-based technical services and service attendance onboard vessels.
- Identify technical issues reported by vessels and coordinate with service providers to resolve them.
- Track annual and statutory surveys for assigned vessels as per due dates.
- Coordinate with classification societies and surveyors for survey attendance.
- Monitor vessel certification status and arrange renewals when required.
- Maintain and update technical records and certificates in PMS or internal systems.
- Monitor and file weekly and monthly reports received from vessels.
- Maintain proper filing of technical documentation, manuals, plans, and vessel reports
- Process and verify invoices related to technical services and repairs.
- Track Opex expenses related to technical services on a monthly basis.
- Prepare monthly cost reports and budget variance reports for assigned vessels.
- Assist in preparation and updating of dry dock specifications and technical modifications.
- Compare dry dock quotations received from shipyards.
- Assist in follow-up of dry dock repairs and technical projects.
- Coordinate with the Purchasing Department for procurement of technical spares and services.
- Follow up on delivery of spares and logistics arrangements for vessels.
- Assist Technical Superintendents in daily operational tasks.
- Support preparation of management reports and presentations.
- Maintain records related to service quotations, invoices, and technical documentation.

Role Summary
The Technical Assistant will support the Technical Department in managing vessel maintenance, documentation, surveys, and coordination with vessels, workshops, and service providers.
The role involves assisting Technical Superintendents in monitoring vessel performance, maintaining certification records, coordinating repairs and services, and ensuring smooth technical operations across the fleet.
