    Epsilon is actively seeking a manager of data and technology strategy for its strategy consulting group, reporting to the Sr. Director, Strategy Consulting. The individual will help to lead and be accountable for devising and communicating data and technology strategies to clients that span across different industry verticals. The individual will be part of a highly visible, strategic team focused on aligning strategic Epsilon product objectives with tactical client demands.

    A successful candidate will have a proven track record of innovative work with a broad range of strategic consulting engagements pertaining to data and technology across the enterprise, preferably with experience spanning B2C and B2B realms. The ideal candidate will be equally fluent in MarTech and ad tech with the ability to understand the worlds of digital marketing, CRM, CDP, Digital Media, Measurement, Activation, DMPs, and Identity Management.

  • As a Manager in the Strategy and Consulting group, you will develop innovative strategies to improve business performance and to lead our clients through their digital change. You will work on a broad range of projects including the development of business strategy, business cases and operating models, digital product management and roadmap development.
  • Lead projects and bring in deep expertise in all things related to data and technology strategy including demonstrated expertise in digital business models, architecting, business casing and product management. You have an interest in, or experience in using technology to drive value accretive data strategy.
  • Define scope and plan new data and technology solutions for clients. This includes determining how to measure business results, modelling current/future strategic capabilities, and identifying the people, data, technology and process recommendations required to successfully unlock value.
  • Engage in pre-sales activities as a key contributor in business development, opportunity pursuits and solution design as well as post sales delivery management and execution leadership. This dynamic leader will manage multiple projects simultaneously and act as a true consultant to our partners.
  • Facilitate business development activities such as conducting team workshops, webinars, and other marketing activities to expand business and increase visibility.
  • Bring rigor to a client's decision-making process by performing detailed cost/benefit analysis, presenting, and evaluating data and technology solution options, and driving consensus among key stakeholders. In most instances, help our clients with consultative advice that continue to deliver value far beyond an engagement.
  • Bring in Excellent knowledge of Digital Marketing, state-of-the-art technologies within Digital and proven experience in data and tech strategy leadership. In this role the right mix of technical knowledge, business skills and consumer-orientation in the market is critical to the organization. Be a forward thinker and big picture visionary.
  • What you will enjoy in this role

  • You will lead strategic consulting engagements with a focus on Data and Tech strategy. These are often of a diagnostic nature roadmaps and recommendations, or they assist our clients with thought leadership in planning, designing and execution of complex initiatives.
  • You are experienced leading a discussion with data, technology and business leaders and you are comfortable working with Sr. Executives and C-level stakeholders.
  • Lead strategic engagement planning and budgeting; mobilize and manage engagement teams that define deliverable structure and content, facilitate buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levels at the client, direct on-time, quality delivery of work products, manage engagement economics, manage engagement risk, and manage expectations on day-to-day interactions with executive clients and sponsors.
  • What you will do

  • Be a subject matter expert across data and technology strategy discipline.
  • Owning the delivery of strategic projects and driving it to closure.
  • Develop actionable holistic playbooks and roadmaps.
  • Translate best practices and ideal states into pragmatic strategies.
  • Educate clients and internal constituents on data strategy.
  • Bring in general best practices and frameworks for strategic consulting.
  • Plans strategies with measurable results in the short, medium, and long term.
  • Strong presentation, delivery know-how and documentation skills.
  • Partner with the client leadership to drive continuous improvement.
  • Familiarity with the MarTech, data, analytics, and systems landscape.
  • Familiarity with activation and media measurement techniques.
  • Ability to work independently and multi-task efficiently.
  • Exhibits healthy skepticism with what-if scenarios.
  • Lead the translation of insights into strategies and tactics.
  • Leading internal brainstorms and client workshops.
  • Participating in new business pitches.
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelors or master's with a major in Technology/Engineering
  • 10+ years relevant work experience
  • 8+ years strategy consulting or other relevant experience
  • 4+ years of technical leadership experience
  • 4+ years of translating business issues into customer solutions
  • Detail-oriented, able to multi-task and prioritize.
