    Description
    As a PipelineEngineer you will be responsible for the design constructionoperation and maintenance of pipelines used in various industriessuch as oil and gas water supply or wastewater management. Yourprimary objective will be to ensure the safe and efficienttransportation of fluids or gasses through pipelines while adheringto regulatory standards and environmental considerations. You willwork closely with multidisciplinary teams including engineerstechnicians and environmental specialists to plan design andimplement pipeline projects. Additionally you will be involved introubleshooting conducting risk assessments and optimizing pipelineperformance.
    1. PipelineDesign: Develop detailed plans and specifications for pipelinesystems considering factors such as fluid properties pressurerequirements terrain and environmentalimpacts.
    2. RegulatoryCompliance: Ensure that pipeline projects comply with local stateand federal regulations including environmental regulations safetycodes and permittingrequirements.
    3. MaterialSelection: Select appropriate materials for pipeline constructionbased on factors such as fluid compatibility pressure ratingscorrosion resistance andcosteffectiveness.
    4. ConstructionOversight: Supervise pipeline construction activities includingtrenching welding coating and installation of valves and fittingsto ensure adherence to design specifications and safetystandards.
    5. IntegrityManagement: Implement integrity management programs to monitor andassess the condition of pipelines including the use of inspectiontechnologies such as smart pigs drones and cathodic protectionsystems.


    Requirements

    • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Civil Engineering or a relatedfield. Advanced degree or professional certification may bepreferred.
    • Minimum of X years ofexperience in pipeline engineering or a related field withdemonstrated knowledge of pipeline design construction andoperation.
    • Proficiency in pipelinedesign software such as AutoCAD Pipeline Studio or similartools.
