    Description

    Job Description:

    The Cloud Adoption and Optimization Specialist will be responsible for identifying opportunities to leverage cloud computing and optimize costs.

    This involves conducting thorough business analysis to understand current processes, systems, and data, as well as identifying potential challenges and risks associated with cloud migration.

    The ideal candidate will develop detailed migration plans and timelines, collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and prioritize initiatives, and design innovative cloud-based solutions that address business needs.

    Additionally, they will work closely with technical teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment, manage risks and dependencies, and monitor project progress.

    A key aspect of this role is leading change management initiatives to ensure a smooth transition to the cloud.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Identify opportunities for cloud adoption and cost optimization
    • Conduct thorough business analysis to understand current processes, systems, and data
    • Develop detailed migration plans and timelines
    • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and prioritize initiatives
    • Design innovative cloud-based solutions that address business needs
    • Manage risks and dependencies to ensure project success
    • Monitor project progress and report on key metrics

    Requirements:

    • Deep understanding of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services, including Compute, Storage, Networking, Database, and Security
    • Experience with Oracle Cloud Migration Tools, such as Database Migration Service (DMS), Application Migration Service (AMS), and Migration Accelerator
    • Ability to analyze and optimize business processes for cloud adoption
    • Expertise in data migration strategies, data cleansing, and data quality assurance
    • Understanding of ITIL frameworks and best practices
    • Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)

    Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year
