    Job Title: Strategic Sourcing Manager (External Workforce)

    This role supports the development and implementation of Category Strategies, including sourcing and commercial activities. The ideal candidate will serve as an organizational expert in the category, meeting internal requirements to drive business outcomes and financial results.

    • Develop and maintain knowledge of key category markets, providing input on category strategies as needed.
    • Provide category leads and managers with support on category/supplier/contract management.
    • Identify and manage category-level risks and issues, potentially leading 1-2 sub-categories.
    • Serve as a conduit to the offshore team, explaining category strategy, setting up RFP events, monitoring implementation, and reviewing reporting.
    • Contribute knowledge and support to each category area, which may include research and task resolution.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
    • At least 8-10 years of experience in procurement, category management, or a commensurate role.
    • Good knowledge of procurement processes, market research, and supplier management.
    • Basic negotiation, communication, influencing, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to analyze data to inform decision-making.
    • General proficiency in procurement software and tools.
    • Good organizational and project management skills.
    • Excellent proficiency in Excel and other analytics-related applications.
