    About Position:
    We are looking for a candidate who has the experience in backend development with GraphQL and API.

    Role:

    Job Type:
    Full Time Employment


    What You'll Do:

    Designing GraphQL Schemas:
    You would define the types, queries, mutations, and subscriptions that describe the shape of the data and operations available via the API

    Implementing Resolvers:
    You would write the functions that connect to the correct data being fetched or modified
    Setting Up


    Azure Services:
    You would configure Azure services such GraphQL server

    Integrating Data Sources:
    You would integrate various databases orlike Azure Cosmos DB or Azure SQL Database

    Optimizing Performance:
    You would implement caching, batching, andcalls

    Securing the API:
    You would use Azure Active Directory, OAuth, and from unauthorized access.

    the GraphQL API to the data sources, ensuring that queries and mutations result in as Azure Functions, Azure App Service, or Azure Kubernetes Service to host the APIs as data sources for the GraphQL server, possibly using Azure's database services data loader patterns to optimize query performance and reduce the number of database other security mechanisms to authenticate and authorize users and protect the APIMonitoring and Logging:

    You would set up monitoring and logging using Azure Monitor and Application Insights to track the API's health, performance, and usage patterns.

    Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): You would establish CI/CD pipelines using Azure Devops to automate the testing, building, and deployment of the GraphQL API

    Compliance and Documentation:
    You would ensure that the API complies with relevant data protection regulations and create comprehensive documentation for developers using the API

    Collaboration:

    You would work closely with front-end developers, other back-end developers, and stakeholders to ensure the API meets the needs of the applications it serves.

    By handling these responsibilities, the GraphQL API developer would play a crucial role in the seamless integration of various applications on the Azure platform.


    Expertise You'll Bring:

    Understanding of GraphQL:
    Knowledge of GraphQL concepts, such as schemas, queries, mutations, and subscriptions.
    GraphQL API Gateways, Understanding of Microservices design patterns. Able to design, contribute to architectural discussion with Data, Application, integration Architects.


    Azure Services:
    Familiarity with Azure services relevant to API development, like Azure Functions, App Service, and API Management

    API Design:
    Ability to design efficient and scalable API endpoints

    Data Modeling:
    Proficiency in creating and managing data models that GraphQL will interact with

    Coding Standards:
    Adherence to coding standards and best practices

    Version Control:
    Proficient use of version control systems like Git

    Testing:
    Writing comprehensive unit and integration tests

    Problem-Solving- Debugging:
    Ability to quickly identify and fix bugs

    Query Optimization:
    Skills in optimizing GraphQL queries to reduce latency

    Caching Strategies:
    Implementing caching mechanisms to improve performance

    Security- Authentication and Authorization:
    Implementing secure access control using Azure Identity platform

    Data Protection:
    Ensuring data privacy and compliance with regulations

    Performance Tuning:
    Experience in tuning applications for better performance.
