- Provide leadership and manage the work activities of direct reports in the area of production support and 24x7 IT operations.
- Analyze and troubleshoot issues in production environments, examining their root cause, and offering timely solutions, working directly with support partners and internal stakeholders across functions.
- Prevent production incidents and outages by partnering with engineering and product teams to design and implement future system and product changes.
- Accountable for the availability and performance of the applications portfolio, including ownership of incidents and release management.
- Collaborate with business and key IT stakeholders to plan, prioritize, and schedule applications development and enhancement requests, providing direction and guidance to the applications development teams.
- Communicate project status to various levels of management.
- Partner with leaders of other disciplines to ensure proposed solutions align with technology, infrastructure, business, and security architectures.
- Engineering degree preferred, with 10+ years of relevant work experience.
- Expertise in providing production support for critical 24x7 enterprise applications.
- Ability to deep dive and analyze underlying application and IT infrastructure issues.
- Experience working with APIs, XML & JSON formats.
- Exposure to cloud, TCP/IP, DNS/DHCP, routing/switching, Unix/Linux, and general endtoend networking; direct handson experience in these areas is highly desired.
- Interest in maintaining handson technical skills while also assuming team management responsibilities.
- Expertise in understanding business process analysis, requirements gathering, solution design and development, vendor management, enterprise application support, and a strong business understanding.
- Demonstrated ability in multitasking, time management, and prioritizing in a fastpaced environment.

Position Summary :
The IT Enterprise Applications Manager holds a vital role in supporting critical IT editorial and business systems for users in the newsroom and other functions.
Strategically focusing on the overall customer experience and developing strong relationships, the role encompasses handling production support issues and delivering business solutions through proactive and continuous engagements with all stakeholders.
As the Enterprise Applications leader, the role will oversee a variety of state-of-the-art newsroom platforms, including Content Management System (CMS), Adobe InDesign, Page Planning, Ad Production & Workflow Automation systems, and enterprise-wide SAP S4/HANA suite.
Additionally, the position will be responsible for technical development executed by both internal and vendor-led teams, collaborating with business units to deliver solutions that meet goals and objectives.
The Enterprise Application Manager serves as the primary point of contact for internal business and vendor partners.
