Job Description:
The Associate, Corporate Communications team member will ensure alignment across Operating Companies
and Internal Support Teams leading to the overall success of cross-functional initiatives that drive performance and enhance our team member experiences from HQ to onsite and everywhere in between.
Key Skills:
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES (Including but not limited to):
Partner cross-functionally with team leads from each company or Shared Service Team to understand business objectives and marketing needs
Lead the design and execution of a comprehensive marketing strategy that serves business objectives. This includes an Annual Marketing Plan with more detailed monthly plans and calendars
Stay apprised of industry trends and proactively develop campaigns to maintain the Company's relevancy
Maintain marketing tools including but not limited to digital marketing, print marketing, and social media accounts in partnership with partner marketing agencies.
Serve as the subject matter expert for marketing concepts and trends with specific attention to multi-family housing
Understand the competitive marketplace and how the company is marketed
Full-cycle management from creation to warehousing of corporate brand collateral
Ensure brand and voice consistency of all external-facing communications
Creation and distribution of press releases
Auditing and reporting of website inaccuracies and updates
Identification/resolution of digital marketing audit findings
Research and application completion for industry awards in each company's vertical
Ensure marketing initiatives are communicated through the correct channels. This includes but is not limited to maintaining relationships with industry publications and networks
Lead and manage all internal initiatives highlighting teams
Set and maintain all company brand standards including but not limited to brand books with partner marketing agencies
Oversee promotional items and print item quotes and procurement. Work with existing vendors to set up and maintain stores of their inventory.
Manage the communication response strategy to any negative or potentially negative media coverage for the company or its Communities.
Work with team leads from each company or department to create and manage annual marketing budget(s). Participate in quarterly reforecasts
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or a related field preferred
Multi-family real estate experience and/or student housing marketing experience
Managing and implementing strategic marketing communications plans
Building and maintaining brand awareness
Digital marketing inclusive of SEO, digital analytics, and social media
Ability to quickly analyze and obtain a deep understanding of the organization's clients and markets
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple marketing campaigns and multiple brands simultaneously
Strong attention to detail, highly organized, and a commitment to perfection
Must be creative, efficient, willing to learn
Exceptional writing, grammar, and proofreading skills
