    Description

    Insight Global is hiring for an IT Auditor for a client in India. They will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, security, and compliance of an organization's IT systems and databases. They combine technical expertise with analytical skills to assess and enhance the effectiveness of IT controls and processes.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    Audit Planning and Execution:

    • Collaborate with management to identify and assess IT and related business risks.
    • Assist in developing an annual risk-based IT audit plan.
    • Execute assigned components of the audit plan.
    • Utilize computer-assisted audit tools and techniques when cost-effective.

    Risk Assessment and Compliance:

    • Evaluate IT infrastructure and processes to identify vulnerabilities, risks, and weaknesses.
    • Review design, implementation, and ongoing operations of IT systems.
    • Provide recommendations for improvements and remediation.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations (e.g., Sarbanes-Oxley).

    Data Integrity and Security:

    • Recommend changes to controls, processes, and procedures to enhance data integrity and security.
    • Assess general and automated application controls.
    • Coordinate with external auditors on IT-related matters.

    Documentation and Reporting:

    • Prepare documentation, including narratives, flowcharts, control matrices, and audit reports.
    • Follow up on internal audit recommendations to ensure implementation.
    • Comply with auditing standards and efficient resource utilization.
    1. Training and Communication:
    • Communicate IT security shortfalls and risk management issues.
    • Facilitate training sessions related to IT controls and compliance.

    Skills and Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
    • Professional certifications such as CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) are advantageous.
    • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
    • Knowledge of IT governance, risk management, and compliance.
    • Familiarity with audit methodologies and tools.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
