    Job Title: Manager TCoE - Direct Taxes

    Location : Kolkata

    Job Description :

    We are seeking a highly capable Manager for TCoE - Direct Taxes to join our team. This role involves aiding in timely statutory compliance and reporting, handling tax assessments and litigations, and providing support to business and group companies with tax related matters. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Income Tax Act, transfer pricing, and evolving international tax concepts.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Aid in the timely compliances, handling of tax litigations and provide support to business and group companies.

    2. Assist in ensuring timely statutory compliance and reporting for the organization.

    3. Work closely with the team to handle tax assessments and litigations.

    4. Assist in the maintenance of documents and digital projects related to direct tax matters.

    5. Handle direct tax related matters or queries of the company and its group companies.

    6. Assist in tax advocacy in various forums to provide the best solutions to the organization.

    Technical Competencies:

    1. In-depth knowledge of Income Tax Act, evolving international tax concepts and transfer pricing. Working knowledge Ind-AS is a must.

    2. Ability to deliver work in a timely and accurate manner.

    Behavioural Competencies:

    1. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while still being able to collaborate effectively with a team.

    2. Demonstrated ability to work in a team and collaborate across different levels of the organization.

    3. Strong result orientation with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets.

    Qualifications :

    The candidate should possess a degree in Finance or a related field, with 0-3 years of experience in a similar role.
