TheLaboratory Technician plays a crucial role in conducting scientificexperiments analyzing results and maintaining laboratory equipment.They are essential in ensuring accurate and efficient laboperations.

KeyResponsibilities

• Prepareand handle laboratory specimens andsamples.
• PerformSample collection/ Phlebotomy for all ages and at remote needs ofthe center.
• Performvarious test in hematology electrolyte testing biochemistryserology clinical pathology and microbiology following standardprocedures.
• Sampleprocessing as per defined SOPs in adherence to TAT / OTR (On timeReport) .Maintain all quality parameters as per QCNorms.
• Record andanalyze data and preparereports.
• Maintain andcalibrate laboratory instruments andequipment.
• Ensurestrict adherence to safety protocols andregulations.
• Order andreplenish laboratory supplies andchemicals.
• Collaboratewith other team members and doctors asnecessary.
• Keepaccurate records of all work carried out in thelaboratory.
• Performroutine quality control checks on equipment andreagents.
• Contributeto the development and improvement of laboratoryprotocols.

RequiredQualifications

• Candidatemust have either Diploma / Bachelor / Master Degree in MedicalLaboratory Technology.(MLT)
• Provenexperience working in a laboratorysetting.
• Proficient invarious laboratory techniques and procedures to run themindependently
• Familiaritywith laboratory equipment andinstrumentation.
• Stronganalytical and problemsolvingskills.
• Excellentattention to detail and accuracy inwork.
• Ability tomultitask and prioritize taskseffectively.
• Goodorganizational and time managementabilities.
• Effectivecommunication skills both verbal andwritten.
• Knowledge oflaboratory safety protocols and bestpractices.
• Ability towork independently as well as part of ateam.
• Proficiency inusing computer software for data analysis andrecordkeeping.
• Adherenceto ethical and professional standards in laboratorywork.
• Stronginitiative and willingness to learn new techniques andmethods.
