    Business Development Manager Position

    Summary:

    The Business Development Manager is responsible for leading and managing the sales team to achieve revenue targets, develop effective sales strategies, and build strong relationships with clients. This role involves providing leadership, guidance, and direction to the sales team to drive business growth and meet organizational objectives.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company sales goals and objectives.
    • Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to drive business outcomes.
    • Routine daily calls to new customers, follow-ups with existing customers, and opening new opportunities.
    • Leverage pre-sales team, marketing materials, and use cases to generate opportunities.
    • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align sales efforts with product offerings and promotional campaigns.
    • Build and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
    • Maintain cloud technical skills through certifications and regular knowledge updates, driving similar expectations from the team.
    • Daily reporting of day plans and executed actions during the initial months.
    • This is an onsite responsibility with standard office hours of 9 am to 6 pm.
    • Reflect highest levels of integrity, trust, and personal responsibility in all interactions.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
    • At least 5+ years of experience in IT sales.
    • 2-3 years of relevant experience in cloud sales – AWS (mandatory).
    • Certifications in AWS cloud fundamentals are an added advantage.
    • Previous experience handling the South region and existing client relationships in Bangalore/Chennai.
    • Proven experience in a sales leadership role with a successful track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
    • Strong written and oral communication skills.
    • A natural collaborator, passionate about customer success, and employee-centric.
    • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
