Description

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and secure cloud solutions.

Design and architect data lakes using AWS Lake Formation, ensuring efficient data ingestion, storage, and processing.

Implement data governance and security policies within the data lake environment, leveraging AWS Lake Formation capabilities.

Develop data pipelines for ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes using AWS services such as Glue, S3, Redshift and snowflake.

Optimize Lake house performance and scalability, utilizing best practices and industry standards.

Design and implement data warehouse solutions using Iceberg for efficient and reliable data storage and querying.

Provide technical guidance and support to development teams during the implementation phase.

Conduct performance tuning and troubleshooting of data lake and data warehouse environments.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers and business analysts to deliver high-quality solutions on time.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Solution Architect with a focus on AWS cloud services.

In-depth knowledge of AWS Lake Formation and Iceberg, including hands-on experience in designing and implementing solutions using these services.

Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and architecture principles.

Experience with data lakes, data warehouses, and big data technologies.

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Spark and SQL.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
