Important responsibilities in this role will include:

• Drafting response to Office Action (for US applications) – Analyzingpatent application and references cited in office action, determiningdifferences between the patent application and cited references, formalizingstrategies to respond on various objections/rejections (101, 102, 103, 112) inoffice action, amending claims and/or writing arguments to differentiate patentapplication from the cited references, reviewing office action responsesprepared by other team members, and mentoring team members for drafting officeaction response

• Patent Search - Understanding invention disclosures andconducting a prior-art search to identify key prior-arts and preparing thesearch reports

Skills we're looking for:

·Professionals with relevant US prosecution experience of4+ years with PhD/ M.Tech/ B.Tech (Electronics and Communication, SignalProcessing, Semiconductor Manufacturing/Fabrication, VLSI, Instrumentation)

·Strong analytical skills with thorough understanding ofthe technology domain

·Excellent written and verbal communication (in English)with particular ability in creative and persuasive writing

·Excellent comprehension and presentation skills

·Responsible attitude and ability to complete tasks in atimely manner

·Well-developed interpersonal and active listening skills

·Prior experience of drafting patent applications and/oroffice action responses and independent client management is preferred.

·Excellent knowledge of IP laws of various countries,various patent databases, technical domains with respect to educationalbackground

·Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word,

· Any certificationsof additional courses or trainings (in Intellectual Property or otherwise)would be a plus
