    Videowala is an independent production company that specializes in the creation of Ad Films, Corporate Films, Documentaries, Video Biographies, Training Videos, and Promotional Films. The company has worked with both national and international brands such as Adani Sportsline, TATA Power, Arvind Mills, Arvind Infrastructure, Adani Power, etc. We have a diverse team of young filmmakers from different backgrounds.

    Responsibilities & Duties:

    Accounting:

    • Processes all accounts payable transactions including vendor bills and credit card charges, ensuring the accuracy of each bill and proper classification;
    • Generates vendor checks, working closely with them
    • Performs accounts receivable duties by accurate posting and classification of the daily receivable transactions, preparing deposit slips when needed, and maintaining accurate and comprehensive records of each day's transactions;
    • Works with the Operations Manager to prepare daily and weekly management reports. Prepares financial reports for management as needed;
    • Processes payroll every week. This includes maintaining employee records, processing vacation and PTO requests, calculating hours, and administering all garnishments and withholdings.
    • Files GST returns and maintains invoices

    Human Resources:

    • Serve as a link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting, and helping resolve work-related problems;
    • Benefits administration --, conducts new hire and exit interviews, ensuring employees understand their benefit coverages. Responsible for employee verification, unemployment, and disability claims.
    • Ensure compliance with corporate policy, fair employment practices, and government regulations;
    • Manage employee documentation such as Employee Handbook and disciplinary communications;
    • Plan and conduct new employee orientation to foster a positive attitude toward organizational objectives;
    • Assists in identifying staff vacancies and recruits, interviews, and select applicants.

    Requirements

    • One or more years of proven experience implementing human resources programs and Accounting. Experience in the plus;
    • Should be very well versed with Tally software
    • Prior accounting experience, performing accounts payable, payroll, and general ledger duties. Working knowledge of automated accounting systems, such as Great Plains;
    • Conscientious, detail-oriented worker who is self-motivated;
    • Good organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks;
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to speak English;
    • Demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft suite of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
    • Interpersonal skills necessary to interact effectively with individuals at all levels of the company, including senior-level executives to front-line workers
