    KEY RESPONSIBILITIESEstablish comprehensive coverage for agreed territory and products(with a special focus on Auto Titrators Karl Fischer Titrators andMercury Analyzers etc.) in consultation with the Sales Managers forthe business vertical including thefollowing: Study the business opportunitiesfor the abovesaid products and submit short term and longtermbusiness plans to management.

    Based onapproved business plan/s in consultation with management executethe same within given timelines. Productpromotions and comprehensive marketcoverage. Generate sales leads and convertthem into opportunities. Understand customerapplications to suggest suitable products andsolutions.

    Conduct demonstrations anddiscuss appropriate technical applications related to the AutoTitrationKarlf Fischer titrations Mercury Analyzers and otheranalytical products as may be necessary.

    Prepare and issue quotations using approvedtemplates. Funnel management and weekly& monthly reporting to immediate linemanager. Pre and Post sales Applicationsupport for existing and new customers whereverrequired. Propose and contribute tomarketing initiatives e.g. direct mailing trade shows conferencesadvertising etc. Ensure enduser customersatisfaction taking corrective action asnecessary.

    Uphold Hitachi / Hitachi HighTech brand integrity with end customers / distributors / agents andoperate in a manner consistent with the Hitachi brandvalues.


    Propose and agree targets for:
    Salesby product market segment product mix cash collection and grossmargin. Propose and agree strategic objectives inregion. Provide regular reports in an agreedformat. Achieve the agreed targets within anagreed expense budget. Build and maintainclose and effective working relationships with team members /distributors. Closely work with salesservice product and marketing teams to help to create regionalbusiness and marketing plan to increase regionalgrowth. Interface with existing office teammembers. Maintain professional awareness ofrelevant external technical and business developments and ofcompetitor activity.

    Education / Qualifications:
    Relevant technical degree preferred or business degree ifappropriate market experience can be demonstrated.

    Post Graduatedegree in chemistry with specialization in ElectroChemistryPROFESSIONAL SKILLS/ABILITIES:
    Technical Financial MarketingUnderstands and manages within a technical environment. Able todevelop direct and channels for the business. Able to work& do sales & marketing work in direct salesdistributor & channel management environment. Able toexplain the technical features advantages and benefits of relevantproducts. Studies and understands competitive market scenarios andgrowth opportunities for the products assigned for sales. Over 5years working experience in Auto and Karl Fischer titration rangeof products discipline and / or instrumentation industry. Able toconduct demonstrations and discuss applications at customer sites.
    Strong application knowledge of Titrator products in Pharmaonpharma Petrochemicals / commercial testing labs / academia etc.
    Additional knowledge on Elemental Analyzers and general analyticalinstrumentations application would be considered as an addedadvantage. Understands the key factors which influence theperformance of own area of the business. Evaluates activities anddecisions from a commercial perspective achieving shorttermfinancial efficiency and longerterm business objectives.
    Understands the relevant market dynamics and economic factorsinfluencing business scenario. Has an appreciation of the externalmarketplace and its requirements and appreciates the importance ofproviding feedback mechanism to central marketing. Applies this toown planning and decision making. Adept at exploiting distributorstrength in developing Hitachi brand image and awareness. Maintainestablished business reports with customers & prospects.
    Has experience in working with global companies and familiar withworking culture like business development reporting s escalationsetc.


    PERSONALQUALITIES:
    Experience of high technologyenvironment or experience of working with a Distributor in therelevant industry sector. Experience of working in across SouthAsia region is must. Fluency in English (written and spoken) Hindiand well versed with at least one of the prominent locallanguages. High personal credibility withinthe own company & distributors and endusercustomers. Willing to travel up to 80% oftheir time. Proficient PC / IT skillsincluding MS Office others
