JobDescription:
Weare looking for an experienced Automation Tester to join our teamin Bangalore. As an Automation Tester you will be responsible fordesigning developing and executing automated test scripts usingSelenium and Playwright frameworks. You will work closely with thedevelopment and QA teams to ensure the quality and reliability ofour softwareproducts.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop automated test scripts using Selenium andPlaywright frameworks. Execute automatedtest scripts to validate the functionality and performance of webapplications. Collaborate with developersand QA engineers to identify test scenarios and automatethem. Participate in sprint planning andreview meetings to provide input on testingefforts. Maintain and enhance existingautomated test suites to adapt to changes in theapplication. Troubleshoot and debug issuesidentified during test execution working closely with thedevelopment team to resolve them. ConductAPI testing using tools like Postman or RESTAssured. Document test cases test plans andtest results to ensure thorough testcoverage. Work with CI/CD tools to automatetest execution and integrate testing into the software developmentlifecycle. Stay updated with the latesttrends and best practices in test automation and qualityassurance.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a relatedfield. 3 years of experience in testautomation with a strong proficiency in Selenium and/orPlaywright. Solid understanding of softwaretesting principles methodologies andtechniques. Experience with programminglanguages such as Java or Python (optional butbeneficial). Familiarity with testframeworks such as TestNG or JUnit.
Knowledge of web application testing techniques and bestpractices. Strong analytical andproblemsolving skills with attention todetail. Excellent communication andcollaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a teamenvironment. Experience working in an Agiledevelopment environment. Familiarity withCI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLabCI.
