    Description

    Responsibilities

  • Globally accountable for overseeing MES user requirements, facilitating solution deployment, providing support, conducting user training, managing vendors, and managing the system life cycle.
  • Design, author, develop, and configure MES modules to meet business needs.
  • Execute MES solutions and seamlessly integrate them with SAP, LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System), PIMS (Process Information Management System), and Control Equipment.
  • Collaborate closely with Business Units to define and translate user requirements into system functionality.
  • Assume end-to-end responsibility for MES deployment projects, including planning, leadership, and support throughout the deployment process.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in leading the design, development, documentation, and implementation phases of MES initiatives.
  • Take charge of strategically evaluating and enhancing the service/product roadmap to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Ensure the delivery of support and maintenance services meets agreed-upon service levels and defined KPIs.
  • Analyze information requirements and flows to enhance processes effectively.
  • Identify process inefficiencies and implement improvements within the application to enhance data quality and connectivity.
  • Requirements

  • Applicants should possess a bachelor's degree in engineering, or Computer Science, or Information Systems. A minimum of 3 years of experience in AVEVA model-driven MES, OT architecture, and related technologies is required, preferably with a background as a System Integrator.
  • A minimum of 3 years of practical involvement with AVEVA model-driven Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Operational Technology (OT) architecture, and associated technologies is essential, with a preference for candidates who have worked as System Integrators.
  • Proficiency in ERP Production planning and execution, logistics, and maintenance is required, with a preference for candidates who possess knowledge of SAP modules such as Production Planning (PP), Quality Management (QM), Logistics Execution (LE), and Plant Maintenance (PM).
  • Proficiency in diverse facets of production management including scheduling, optimization, sequencing, order execution, genealogy, traceability, Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), ERP integration, quality control, and automation is indispensable. Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Warehouse Management is beneficial.
  • Candidates should demonstrate advanced Project Management skills with experience in executing international projects. Knowledge of manufacturing processes and methods, particularly in chemical manufacturing, including process and batch manufacturing, is required. The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting, along with strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities, is essential.
  • Proficiency in Database Programming (SQL), C# or VB .NET Programming, Web Programming (JavaScript, CSS, JSON, JQuery, Web API, HTML5, REST API), and Report Writing (SQL Server Reporting Services) is crucial. Strong communication skills are imperative.
  • Experience with OSIsoft PI (Plant Information), OPC (OLE for Process Control), and DCS (Distributed Control System)/PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) technologies is advantageous but not obligatory. Similarly, familiarity with SAP MII (Manufacturing Integration and Intelligence) is beneficial but not mandatory.
