    Job DescriptionThe company develops train simulators used by railways companies to train their drivers.
    The simulator is a distributed hardware and software real-time system. One of the softwarecomponents of the simulator is the Vision System.

    The Vision system computes and displays motionpictures in real time from the output of the models involved in the simulation, to provide to the driverof a train simulator a synthetic but realistic rendering of its environment (lines, signals, passengers,crossing trains, cars, landscape, hazards, etc....), in any situation (weather, backlight in sunset,night, brutal brightness change in tunnels, ...).Vision software is based on Unigine engine (with our proprietary libraries developed in C++integrated), and the Vision hardware tailor made for each project.

    Vision software is developedwithin the core Product team.

    The 3D content (3D assets and 3D world) is developed by our 3Dgraphics team using the 3D World edition suite delivered by our core Product team.

    The productteam is organized in Agile workflow. Its team members are involved in all phases of development.
    This includes design, development, unit testing,integrated testing, and support.


    Requirements Duties:


    Undertake activities related to the design and development of Vision software and the 3D worldedition tool suite as part of the core Product team.


    • Demonstrate the ability to comprehend, create and debug C++ and C# modules.
    • Use and enhance a range of Unigine tools.
    • Operate complex simulators combining virtual and physical elements.
    • Update methods documents, technical and functional documentation.
    • Set clear self (in consultation with supervisor) goals and KPIs.
    • Monitor self-performance on productivity, quality, compliance to process & standards isimportant according to the Engineering KPIs.
    • Support a healthy and motivating work environment and atmosphere, work with the teameffectively.
    • Implements business initiatives including prompt corrective action plans for areas with belowthreshold performance.
    • Ensure efficient and economical performance in accordance with operating budgets, year-endgoals and objectives.
    • Manage work assignments, productivity & quality, and process compliance in line withCompany India goals, processes, and guidelines.
    • Adhere to all policies procedures and work instructions within the discipline of Company IndiaQuality expectations. Working in close collaboration with the Team in France and Adelaide andwith 3D graphics lead, participate in regular discussions, ensure constant & consistentcollaboration, and provide constant updates of the ground situation in Pune.

    Skills:
    2 to 5 years of Experience

    • Hand on experience in plant developing in Unigine or Unreal engines (3Denvironment, Blueprint, code, etc.).
    • Hand on experience in plant modelling using C++ and C#.
    • Educational background from IIT or a reputed NIT/University shall be preferred.
    • Experience of working on projects involving Distributed Software Systems designand development will be highly preferable.
    • Understanding of key concepts in computer graphics and virtual reality technology.
    • Skills in 3D mathematics (e.g. matrix/vector mathematics)
    • Experience analyzing requirements and developing designs that meet requirements.
    • Knowledge of software design principles, including the use of UML
    • Ability to work within an Agile workflow.
    • Problem solving skills.
    • Ability to diagnose and debug software problems.
    • Experience in using 3D modelling tools like 3D Studio Max, Maya or Blender isdesirable.
    • Experience with databases and SQL is desirable.
    • Knowledge of network protocols (TCP/UDP) is desirable.
    • Experience with configuration management and defect tracking tools.
    • Initiative and a willingness to learn.
    Work Location will be in Pune (Preferring candidates who can work from office)
