As an Accounts PayableSpecialist you will be responsible for ensuring timely processingof vendor payments maintaining accurate financial records andsupporting other accounting functions.

Your role will be crucial inmaintaining strong relationships with vendors and contributing tothe financial health of ourorganization.


Responsibilities:
Initiate and coordinate vendorpayments
Implement and maintainsystems for efficient inventorymanagement
Analyze inventory dataand identify potential cost savingsopportunities
Reconcile bankstatements and investigatediscrepancies
Research andresolve discrepancies in invoices andpayments
Assist with otheraccounting tasks as assigned such as accounts receivable generalledger entries and reporting
Assist with payroll processing tasks asassigned

Requirements

Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounts payable or a relatedaccounting role
Understanding ofaccounting principles andprocedures
Proficiency inaccounting software
Experiencewith inventory management systems and bestpractices
Familiarity withpayroll processing procedures(preferred)
Excellentorganizational and time managementskills
Meticulous attention todetail andaccuracy

Thecandidate should possess a minimum of a Master's degree in Commerce(MCom) or an intermediate qualification in Chartered Accountancy(CA Inter).

They should be aged 30 or above. They must havedemonstrable experience in an accounting or auditing role,preferably within the hospitality industry. A thoroughunderstanding of accounting and auditing principles, taxregulations, and reporting standards is a must.
