    Preferred educational qualification:

    Graduate in B.E. / B.Tech / M.Tech in Electronics/Telecommunication, Electrical Engineering

    Work experience:

    Strong engineering experience in Hardware design and development

    Component selection, Interface design for Test Jig/Test Rigs, ATEs

    In-depth knowledge of aerospace standards, harness and panels manufacturing process,

    Knowledge of DFMEA, PFMEA

    10+ years in Aerospace, Defense, Automotive or Industrial applications of which 6+ years in power

    electronics.

    This position is responsible for Overall design, development of Power Electronics Hardware Design & Test

    Engineering to drive game changing potential technologies, including component selection, schematic design, PCB

    support for layout Engineer, Board Bring up, Card level testing.

    Core Responsibilities & Duties

    Good fundamental knowledge of Power Electronics circuits, Electronic components & Devices.

    Hands-on experience in hardware projects involving Power Electronics Circuit, Testing of Circuits & embedded

    coding.

    Good in Power Electronics and Analog, Power Supply, SMPS, DC-DC, Converters, SMPS , DC-DC , Inverter

    /Drives products architecture and design.

    Component selection

    Magnetics design

    Simulation tool experience

    Schematics design and guiding PCB team

    Product DVT testing

    Design and Development of hardware for LRUs, Mixed Signal Boards, Controller Boards, Test Jigs/Rigs, ATE for

    Airborne, Defense and Ground Applications, Knowledge of DO-254 Preferred.

    Firmware Software: Design and Development of Firmware and software architecture at system level for LRUs,

    Controller Boards, Test Jigs/Rigs, ATE for Airborne, Defense and Ground Applications, Knowledge of DO-178

    Preferred. (D)

    System: System level design and development from conceptual to implementation including interface design,

    connection diagrams, integration and Testing.

    Initial Design, Proof of Concept (POC), Detailed Design & Engineering, functional Prototyping, Testing & Final

    Product Specs, Select and assess suitability and reliability of electronic components, Prototype electronic

    circuits and document measurements and results.

    Design, debug, and test embedded software for motor control applications.

    Experience in MATLAB, Simulink & PSpice.

    Work with major power component suppliers on modifications or improvements to products to ensure optimal

    design. (D)

    Demonstrate ability and flexibility to manage multiple and significantly complex projects, RFPs independently

    with high level of autonomy and accountability for results.

    Unit level Qualification and Certification, exposure to ESS, SOFT and Qualification Tests at Card level and Unit

    level.

    Exhibit significant in-depth knowledge on Components, Key Characteristics of parts, processes, techniques,

    methodologies, tools and equipment used with an enhanced focus on cost, safety, quality. Implements

    industry standards, best practices within the domain. (D)

    Stay abreast of new technology and initiate introduction of new materials, tools, Test equipment and process

    automation, towards improving quality and productivity enhancement. (D)
