Exciting Opportunity to work in a niche US Enterprise Software product domain and involvement in Software technical documentation and support for SAAS/ Cloud-based applications.

KOTT Software is a pioneer in offering client-centric, robust business solutions based on its enterprise solutions and applications and is acknowledged as a leader among its peers. Based on the growing demands, it has set up an extended applications development and support team in Kochi. The teams will handle its existing applications portfolio in terms of product development, ongoing support, and maintenance, develop and deliver solutions for new initiatives and also participate in the application modernization program. Towards this, Kott Software is looking for highly skilled Technical Documentation specialists to contribute towards product implementation and customer success.

Job Description

To be a part of a Software Product and Customer Success team, to assist in implementing the software product and solutions, and write Technical documentation and content for end users.

The selected candidate will work closely with the software product team, both technical and functional teams, and work with subject matter experts to build and maintain the written materials for user manuals, technical documents, help guides, and training files.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Determine the needs of end users and make the required technical documentation.

2. Study product workflow, and samples and talk with product managers and developers.

3. Learn the subject matter and write content to make the solution easier to use for the end users.

4. Organize and write supporting documents for the products features and module functionalities.

5. Use drawings, diagrams, animation, photographs, and charts that increase users understanding.

6. Standardize content across platforms and media.

7. Gather usability feedback from customers, designers, and end users.

8. Revise documents as new software versions or issues arise.

9. Work closely with the US onsite team to understand customer requirements and expectations.

Required Skills:

At least 1+ year experience with technical documentation with a product or engineering team is desirable
Proven experience working in a technical writing position is an advantage
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in MS Office
Strong attention to detail
Able to write in explanatory and procedural styles for multiple audiences
Skilled at prioritization and multi-tasking
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Good inter-personal Skills
Ability to function well within teams.
Graduate Engineers BTech / MCA / MBA / First class graduates BA, BSc, BCA who have a passion for technical writing, blogging or content creation.

Selected candidates will work with our US office and India teams and will be based in Infopark, Kochi.
