    Alt Mobility is a full stack leasing and fleet lifecycle management platform enabling the transitioning of India's commercial vehicles to electric.

    The company presently owns a fleet of 6500+ EV's that are managed by a proprietary platform FleetOS that collects millions of data points from its fleet and improves the total cost of ownership and uptime to its fleet partners.

    Function :
    Software Engineering - Backend Development, Full-Stack Development, Other Software Development Microservices MongoDB AWS


    As the Software Development Engineer III at Alt Mobility, you will be part of our core engineering team and contribute directly to the development of the product & ensure the smooth functioning, and operation of the Fleet OS, leveraging your expertise in software engineering.

    This role requires a deep understanding of core software engineering principles and a passion for creating a direct impact on our target audiences.

    You will play a pivotal role in driving the core product of the business.


    Responsibilities :

    • Develop, implement, and maintain efficient and scalable backend solutions using JavaScript technologies.
    • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to design and implement backend architecture for our applications.
    • Create and maintain APIs and web services for realtime data applications.
    • Ensure the security, performance, and reliability of the backend system.
    • Optimize code and database queries for maximum efficiency.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues as they arise.
    • Stay uptodate with the latest industry trends and technologies.
    • Mentor and provide guidance to junior developers when necessary.

    Requirements :

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
    • 4+ years of professional experience as a JavaScript Backend Developer.
    • Proficiency in the MERN (MongoDB, , React, ) stack.
    • Experience working on realtime data applications.
    • Strong knowledge of multiple JavaScript technologies and thirdparty packages.
    • Solid understanding of backend development principles and best practices.
    • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
    • Excellent problemsolving and debugging skills.
    • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • Work with message queues, such as RabbitMQ, to handle asynchronous tasks efficiently.
    • Utilize both SQL and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL and MongoDB, for data storage and retrieval.
    • Implement caching strategies using technologies like Redis.
    • Experience with cloudbased technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.).
    • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
    • Familiarity with serverless architecture.
    • Previous experience with microservices architecture.
    • Contributions to opensource projects or a strong portfolio of personal projects.
