    Duties & Responsibilities

    Roles & Responsibilities-

  • Contribute to supplier selection through QMS capability assessment.
  • Drive PPAP, APQP in line with the PLP (Product Lifecycle Process) gate review
  • Support the supplier quality problem solving process, for both production and warranty failures.
  • Implementation and deployment of BIQ (Built-In Quality) methodology by partner with suppliers to embed quality controls within the build in processes.
  • Creation, monitoring and updating of the SQM requirements for new and ongoing NPI projects to ensure early detection and escalation of SQM risks within the project.
  • Identify SD pipeline of improvement activities with Quality Management team and category organisation.
  • Oversee supplier onboarding, and supplier audit schedule.
  • Support with supplier change management, disqualification and transfer.
  • Own supplier quality continuous improvement programs.
  • Monitor supplier performance through definition and evaluation of KPIs , definition of improvement action plans for the process and product.
  • Monitor and continuously improve suppliers with regard to quality standards and Q-assurance.
  • Planning, implementation, and documentation of supplier audits as well as independent monitoring of the implementation of the measures defined in the audit.
  • Please note- This role would be a Fixed term contract for 12 months

    The Individual

    Skills & Experience-

  • Graduate in engineering
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a supplier relationship management role within automotive or aerospace industry
  • Six sigma green belt certification
  • Qualification as a lead auditor, ISO 9001 certified
  • Experience with APQP/PPAP, PFMEA, 8D problem solving
  • Supplier development background with one or multiple commodities : Mechanical, Electronics
  • Open to travel worldwide (20-30% of work time)
